And we're walking, we're walking ...

Apologies to the movie "Dave" if I butchered any part of the line from the tour guide scene ...

But we're off and walking, he's done a few short laps in the hall outside the room and is now sitting in the waiting area where the parental units have been stashed.  Whoo hooo!!   Progress is baby steps ... even if you're 35.

Congratulations, Michael and Jenn. Up and walking about--that's outstanding. I hope it keeps getting better and better.

If it's still the same, the step-down floor has a tiny little gym with a treadmill, where they have a little class on exercise and recovery after myectomy. It's a good class to sit through. (Don't worry--you just sit through it. Participation not required.) When I got tired of laps around the step-down floor, I even tried the treadmill a little bit on day 4 or 5.

The iPod--Stat! story made me smile. That's definitely how I was.

All the best on your continuing recovery!
